The President of Democratic Party, Renho attended to the National Diet to solve her dual nationality between the Japanese and Taiwanese on Jul 11, and said to insist her Japanese nationality, “I am now ready for showing the full copy of my family register.” Although she kept denying showing it for the reason of her family’s privacy, she said t the diet, “Because my child has grown enough, I can deal with this problem now.” She said the same at the executive department of Democratic Party.
Renho is expected to show the copy of her family register by explaining a fact relative to her dual nationality at the Joint Plenary Meeting of Party Members of Both Houses of the Diet scheduled on Jul 25.
However other party members complained about the lack of her explanation about her dual nationality at the diet on Jul 11, and said, “Her concealment of her dual nationality led us to lose the credibility from the nations.” While the members pointed out that the executive department is responsible for the loss at Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election, she seems to attempt to continue her political authority by explaining her hideous dual nationality.
Renho declared that she was on the way to lose her Taiwanese nationality to choose the Japanese nationality at the press conference in last October. However, she refused to show the full copy of her family register where her declaration date was clearly printed. Her unfaithful behavior led the problem into an unsolved mystery.
