The former governor of Ehime, Moriyuki Kado, gave unsworn testimony to adjournment inspection at the Lower House Budget Committee on Jul 24. He explained a reasonable procedure of the issue of the lack of veterinary schools. Maekawa finally opened his mouth that he did not receive the order to help Kakei School from both Office of Prime Minister and Cabinet Office. Maekawa’s grounds had no real evidence.
“I would like to prove that the Prime Minister was falsely accused of this issue.”
Kado declared it to the Minister of Defense, Itunori Onodera, the member of the Liberal Democratic Party. The former governor pointed out the mainstream media’s criticism is a simply false because he used to solve the issue for 10 years. Although in order to beat the infectious disease in farm animals down, he has requested to establish a veterinary school in the special zones for structural reform with the governors of Imabari City 15 times since 2007. Every his request has been denied.
Kado said, “I requested other universities to open the department of veterinary, but they did not respond. For Imabari City, either white or black cat, a good cat is the one which opens a veterinary school.” He referred his word from Deng Xiaoping the Chinese statesman who introduced the market economy in China which is a politically twisted system for the collectivism, and his word, “A good cat is the one which catches a mouse.” By having a referred word, he insisted that collaboration with Kakei School comes from a reasonable decision.
On the other hand, Maekawa changed his answer. He clearly mentioned Kake School was certainly involved with this case as he received the request from the cabinet to accelerate the consideration after Hiroto Izumi said on Sep 9, 2016, “I expose the case on the behave of the Prime Minister because he cannot answer it.”
Maekawa explained, “I knew the Prime Minister and the president of Kake School were friends. And he also knew Kake School wanted to establish the veterinary department in Imabari City.” However, Izuimi declared, “I did not say anything about Kake School when I talked with Maekawa.” Maekawa did not reject his comment. When the dominant party jeered, “It was your bias,” Maekawa’s calm face became stiffened.
Maekawa explained, “Only Kake School wanted to establish the veterinary department when we talked with Izumi.” But both Kyoto Industrial University and Kyoto Prefecture requested to do it in March 2016. When Maekawa was asked about his contradictory, he said, “I did not know such a plan of Kyoto Industrial University.”
When he met Izumi on October 17, 2016, Maekawa said, “I am seeing what we can do, knowing the situation that the big rival, Kyoto Industrial University, has the perfect plan for the establishment of the department.” He explained the reason to resist the plan to establish the veterinary department of Kyoto Industrial University as if he rejected his prior comment.
Maekawa came out that he did not talk with Hirokazu Matuno, the Minister of Education, or Higher Education Bureau who is in charge of this case. In fact, the writer concluded that he manipulated this whole issue.
Democratic Partywhich which requested the adjournment inspection on this issue with its stupid question, such as “Which one pay for dinner, Abe or Kake School President?” It intentionally attempted to make a bad impression of the LDP. The last person who stood at the question, Yasuto Urano, the member of Nippon Ishin No Kai, deplored, “How long they keep this shit…?”
