The Meteorological Agency
warned of a flood and a sediment disaster on 3rd July for predictable heavy
rain in East and North East Japan.
According to the Meteorological Agency, because wet and warm
weather flows toward a seasonal rain front whish is at a standstill, the atmospheric
condition is predictably unstable. The rain front will be at the standstill
between Okuriku and Tohoku area on 4th July.
The thundershower and heavy rain will fall in East and
Tohoku area on 4th July.
The predicted rainfall in
24 hours to 18:00 on 4th July is expected to be 250 millimeters in Hokuriku
area, and 200 millimeters in Koushin area. That on 5th July will be between 100
and 200 millimeters in Hokuritu and Koushin area, and 50 to 100 millimeters in
Tohoku area.
Because of the heavy
rain, the local residents need to watch out the sediment disaster.
