After Aichi and Fukuoka Prefectural Police Departments arrested 10 people for robbing the golden bars equivalent to 750 million yen at a location close to JR Hakata station in Fukuoka city in last July, the Police Departments found a police officer of Aichi prefecture called a suspect before on June 2. This happened because Fukuoka Police Department monitored cell phones. Although it searched the person’s house who was related to the suspects who chased the golden bars in March this year, Fukuoka Police Department told Aichi Police Department that the information appeared to be leaked to the criminal groups before searching for the house.
Inspection Office of Aichi Prefecture started an investigation on the same day.
According to one of the officers, Fukuoka Department Office monitored some suspects' cell phones identified from the records of surveillance cameras set around the crime scene.
Fukuoka Police Department figured out 3 groups consist 6 transporters including the major culprit, Kazuki Noguchi, a mediator, Ryuichi Nakagaki, between performers and 3 exchangers.
Both Fukuoka and Aichi Prefectural Police Departments arrested 10 people for a robbery since May 22. The suspects are disguised as police officers, robbed the gold bars in attaché cases from the victims in the middle of their transportation, and run away from the scene by the car.
