Fujiwara
Kogyo, which was a constructor with an elementary school for an educational
corporation Moritomo Gakuen, claimed in the Osaka district court for an
additional provisional attachment of the president’s house from several
provisional attachments of the corporation’s land properties, including its
preschools. The district court accepted the case on April 3. According to the
Fujiwara Kogyo’s attorney, the district court made a decision on March 31.
The
attorney insisted, “The total construction cost for the corporation including
additional construction and waste treatment was more than 1.6 billion yen.”
Fujiwara Kogyo would sue against Kagoike and his corporation for the same
amount of the claims and damages.
According
to the construction company, although Moritomo Gakuen agreed with the company
to pay 1,555,200,000 yen for the construction work. Although the company
already received 450 million yen, the payment was stopped since last October.
The total construction cost including additional iron frames and industrial
waste treatment was more than 1.9 billion yen.
The CEO of Fujiwara Kogyo, Koichi Fujiwara, explained
to the reporter, “Moritomo Gauken promised me to pay 750 million yen of the
construction cost from the subsidy for private schools paid by Osaka after
building the school.” In addition to an official contract, he signed on the
agreement to request for the subsidy of 756 million yen as Kagoike asked. The
attorney emphasized, “There was no evidence of the subsidy for private schools.
The contract should be void because of the fraud.”
