The Japanese emperor videotapes his idea
about his abdication after the final adjustment on Aug 8.
The Imperial Household Agency responded on
Aug 4th that the agency has been adjusting to make a video message from the
Japanese Emperor to tell his idea of abdication while he is alive. The
videotape is expected to announce to the public in afternoon on Aug 8th.
This is 2nd videotaped message to send his
royal voice to the nation from the Emperor since the last one that he made for
the nation to ease their mind from the giant impact of Tohoku-earthquake shown
on 5 days after the disaster hit in Japan in March, 2011. He will read his idea
in front of the camera after having some conference with the executives of the
Imperial Household Agency.
Although the Emperor would not choose to abdicate
his royal class because of the constitutional law, he will explain his feeling
on his future royal actions after the videotape.
The nations have been paying their
attention to the issue about the abdication since the last month. The Emperor
decided to take a videotape in order to avoid any possible misunderstandings
from the nation.
The Imperial House Act needs some
amendments for the issue, because it has never explained about abdication
before the death. The Japanese government created a special team in order to
solve the royal issue.
The Emperor has his policy that his royal
duties must keep carrying out for his life as the symbolic Japanese Emperor. However
he needs to consider a possible abduction because of his possible health
status. He already told his feeling to his family and people close to him.
The executives of the Imperial Household
Agency hopes the nations will understand his feeling at last.
