“Defense Cost is the cost to kill people,” Fujino, the Communist Party, said on the broadcasting program.

Yasuhumi Fujino, the Policy Research Council chairman of the Communist Party, showed off his dissatisfaction with more than 5 trillion yen of the defense cost in this year, saying in the NHK’s TV program on June 26th, “The government should not spend the defense cost because of the budget to kill the people.”

Tomomi Inada, the Policy Research Council chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, immediately refuted him, “He is a demagogue. The defend cost is the cost to defend the nation in the country, not kill people.” Policy Research Council chairmen of other parties, Noritoshi Ishida of Komeitou and Mikio Shimoji of Osaka Restoration Association also asked him to correct his bigoted comment against the Self Defense Force.


Masamune Wada, the Party for Japanese Kokoro, “His comment is inappropriate as a Japanese politician because the national defense is obviously dealing with their operation to protect the Japanese.” However, Fujino ignored them in the TV program.
