AFP - Patients Diagnosed with Lung Plague in China

Two patients were diagnosed with the pneumonic plague at a hospital in Beijing in China. The authorities in one ward of the hospital revealed it on the website on the 12th this month. The pneumonic plague is a rare occurrence but highly infectious, and can result in death if neglected. According to the authorities, the patients are from the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the northern part of the country are currently treated at hospitals in Beijing. It also explained, “prevention and control measures have already been taken.” Beijing has a population of over 21 million. AFP requested the municipal authorities for comment but did not respond. However, the World Health Organization has confirmed the Chinese authorities reported the occurrence of pneumonic plague. The pneumonic plague is more dangerous than common plagues. German Newspaper Reported Schröder had an affair with a Korean married woman

German News Media, Bild-Zeitung, reported on Sep 20th that the former German vice Prime Minister, Gerhard Fritz Kurt Schröder had an affair with a Korean married woman.
